Here at Imperium Data Networks, we are thrilled to announce that we have two new role openings!

During such an uncertain time, we are so excited to be able to provide a light at the tunnel for two talented individuals that we hope to add to our team.

It is no secret that the technology industry right now is more important than ever, and we pride ourselves in being the best for our clients’ technology needs. That being said we have two new roles to fill, so read on to see what that would look like and determine if you think you are a good match for the Imperium Data Networks family.

Purchasing Broker:

Do you have a supportive and team driven mentality? We are looking for an Inventory Broker at our headquarters! In this role, you will directly support the sales team through the quoting, negotiation, and purchasing of IT network hardware and services. You will be responsible for managing the company’s relationships with key vendors and will be tasked with building strategic partnerships with them to capture savings and streamline our supply chain.

We would expect you to be able to communicate effectively with sales management, confirm pricing with suppliers, monitor delivery and review invoicing, and expedite delivery when necessary.

Additionally, you will be tasked with closely monitoring sales and identifying market trends on specific products that can be purchased proactively at advantageous prices. You will also be encouraged to leverage the company’s existing vendors relationships to broker inventory with other companies within our industry to turn over aging inventory and drive wholesale revenue.


  • Owner of strategic vision for assigned category
  • Develops, plans, and achieves quarterly goals
  • Vigilantly monitors sales, takes appropriate action to capitalize, or has contingency plan to react to potential shortfalls
  • Analyzes relevant data and interprets statistics in order to make timely and sound business decisions
  • Generate savings and cost reductions from negotiations.
  • Generate accurate, complete and compliant Purchase Orders based on material and service requirements identified
  • Deploy a high degree of analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Responds promptly to internal and external customer needs. Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles with a sense of urgency.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of complex tasks. Works under limited supervision.
  • Help to build vendor partnerships and work with business unit and other corporate resources to develop and enhance overall purchasing strategies.
  • Actively pursues creative avenues in order to procure merchandise
  • Positively represents the company in the marketplace
  • Elicits critical information from vendors regarding market trends, and buying activity of competitors
  • Skillfully negotiates with vendors on pricing, content of assortment and terms etc.
  • Ensures vendor adherence to scheduled shipping windows

Business Development Executive:

This role is all about maximizing our customers businesses, it is not just your ordinary sales job.

At Imperium, our business development team does not just sell, we help maximize our customers’ business efficiency through technology. As an Account Executive, you will grow a career by building relationships and delivering IT solutions to customers in business, government, education and healthcare nationwide.

We train to replace and are invested in your success, so you will spend the first 3 months in paid training where you’ll learn the basics of IT network hardware, our partners, and most importantly, how to speak knowledgeably about our solutions, drive sales through client-relationships, and create success for yourself and our company.

IDN’s Account Executives are the people driving the IT industry. Everyday you wi’ll communicate directly with a variety of IT decision makers and business professionals. You’ll help them improve their technology infrastructure and deliver results. You’ll form long-lasting relationships, make friends, and help them celebrate successes, big and small.

You will have a direct hand in building the future through technology and you’ll have a lot of fun with your new team along the way.

  • Prospect for potential/recurring business by contacting targeted decision makers.
    • Provide sales expertise to potential customers, via telephone & email
    • Regularly find and call prospective companies and contacts
  • Close new business by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • Identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and continually maintaining a pipeline for new business
  • Facilitate Sales Orders to the Operations Team and the rest of the development team, who work will work diligently to meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
    • Participate as a collaborative member of a sales team and sales territory
    • Participate in sales contests and attend sales and product training as required.
    • Provide customer feedback and industry information to sales management and leadership teams

Salary Plus Uncapped Commission Plan

    • Must have an Associate Degree.
      • In lieu of degree must have two years of sales experience in a quota bearing position
    • Ideally have one year of sales experience in a quota bearing position.
    • Proven self-starter with motivated attitude to grow professionally.
    • Proven success in a competitive environment preferred.
    • Self-disciplined, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Successful cold-calling experience a plus
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail, appreciation of deadlines and commitment to follow-up is essential.
    • Strong customer orientation.
    • Must be very comfortable using the telephone for sales activity.
    • Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
    • Confirmation that you are not bound by any contractual agreements that restrict your ability to perform your duties for Imperium Data Networks
